wah.. they can't even cover operating cost if they open the outlets ??
They have always been very generous with their promotions and discounts without compromising on the quality and portion of their food. I don't think they are even making profits, most probably break-even only :frown:

Wah didn't know till you mentioned it, yup they're under Select Group since 2008. No wonder they can be so generous with their promotions and discounts and not scared rugi. Was quite worried for them last year during **.

Thats the impact of not allowing dine in. A lot of F&B places will rather close because they know they will just incur more overheads suffer deeper losses if they open.

Usually they are cafe model F&B or restaurants as such, who experienced before no one will order such food when default WFH or everyone’s home. During that period, for most people, just basically eat to live only. Where got mood for fancy food.

At least they're a huge local SME that can help keep the restaurant afloat as they often serve their food at near cost price.

Initially, I thought the Peach Garden restaurants are on their own and I was wondering if they can even pay their staff a reasonable amount of salary when their food is so affordable.
