Basket so fast.. Also applied via UOB internet banking, but took 2 weeks just to approve.
Did you apply the same way as me :

At internet banking desktop (phone app I don't see this), scroll to cards. Below your existing cards they will show the UOB Absolute Card and whether you want to apply. Click there to apply. Just 2 clicks and all is done. No need submit documents or go through my info etc.

My previous experience when applying another UOB card also through this method and very fast approved.

This method is fast no doubt, but will it lose out on any promo deals eg. compare to applying through singsaver or other channels?
I am existing uob one card user though

Don't think there are any significant promo deals for this card at the moment?

Are you guys experiencing any paywave issues with this card? I tried to use it for 7-11 purchases and Gong Cha both rejected.

Off topic but appreciate if anyone knows - any issues to prepay a lump sum even if tax payment already on giro?
Nope, unless you're very close to Giro deduction date then the Giro deduction might go through even though you've paid everything. In that case just write in to IRAS for a refund. Otherwise they'll just cancel your subsequent payments.

If I just pay certain amount of monthly instalment every month, will they adjust the GIRO amount accordingly?

Hi all quick question, have any users for this card managed to top up their Grabpay Wallet with it?

Yes ofcourse. I topped up yesterday at 11:30pm, but my uob abs card was already added to grab, so topup worked without any issue.
