renovation electrician experts come in

those whom went through renovation using ID, did you go along with the electrician that was recommended by your ID?

I just checked and apparently the electrician that was recommended to me doesn't have a electrician license and he claims as he's on work permit he can't apply for that

Act as don't know then after complete threatened to sue them then ask for full refund of electrical fee.

Is he much cheaper? Why go for unlicensed if he is same rates as license?

But SG Reno very unregulate, even if licensed company they may still use unlicensed workers. The LEW is just there to rubber stamp

Don't play.,. No LEW no talk.
Your home insurance will be voided if there is an incident in future.
If a LEW does final signoff on the fellows work, maybe still ok.
Bottom line is a LEW must be willing to put his name on the signoff document.

grey grey area.

There could be a group of ppl install but only 1 or 2 licensed

Not went things goes wrong like electrical fire/short circuit/blackout... Then someone can answer. Cause licensed one have records with the govt bodies mahh

nowadays electrical work like cabling and trunkings are done by bangalas then sign off by LEW, if the electrican on work permit not qualify then who is going to certified the electrical work on completion?

in order to obtain a electrical licence in singapore you have to have a poly diploma or higher nitec diploma. so that already disqualifies foreigner.
so what company do is they make sure at least 1 got the license and put him on paper but reality is that many not aware what is being done on site.
if tiyr guy comes direct from JB for sure got no license
