Wait do you see a FAST option in IBKR LLC? I only see a bank wire option

That's fine! Choose it, note down the details you do need for FAST, and use FAST.

Interactive Brokers supports some very large number of currencies and countries. They're not putting the names of every domestic fund transfer system on their user interface screens, that's all. If you're still concerned, try a S$10 FAST transfer if you wish. It'll work!

Anyone have problem login to Client portal? I was able to login to mobile but not Client portal. I can still login yesterday. After entering password at Client portal, it's 2FA didn't come through the mobile app.

click on services.

click authenticate

enter challenge code

then click generate response.

Thanks! The steps works but unfortunately, login fail. Not sure why, I think I need to sent in an inquiry to ask their Customer service. Maybe something wrong with my account

Close everything properly and try again.

Actually tried that a few times. Close all browser and open to try. Never have this problem before. This is the first time it occurred. Lucky i can still login through mobile. I can still submit a ticket to them. otherwise not sure how to get their help. They don't seem to allow query if you do not login. The next problem is not sure how long I have to wait for their reply. sometimes can take 1-2 weeks.

if using default 2FA through mobile app, the problem is not receiving the notification at mobile app to authenticate.

Using the manual authenticate, after entering the response string it just say login fail. No other error.

BUT after I've submitted the ticket, although there is no reply yet, now I can login. The default 2FA is coming through. This problem persisted for like since 12pm and now it suddenly worked. No idea why. Initially I thought the website having issue but seems like only me experiencing it. I guess I have to monitor for a while.

Is IBKR sg considered as international account or singapore local account? I have some usd in scb settlement account that I wanna transfer to ibkr.

ibkr now no longer has any inactivity or fixed fees monthly right? If that’s the case, I think buying CSPX from IBKR at 5usd per trade is better than SCB of $10.70 per trade. But just wanna confirm with existing users, that’s the only fees that need to be paid ?

What you can consider doing in future (you might have already done so) is sometimes just not keep trying but wait say 1 hour. let them drop all your connection before trying again.

sometimes if you keep trying, there is a delay and they might not recognise which is which.
