Lost alot of weight and all my pants don't fit. Got any recommendations for a cheap but good tailor for work pants.

Hey guys, anyone tried SuitYourself? Wanna make a 3 piece suit for wedding and their price seems to be cheaper than the rest, but unsure of their quality??

Hi, any recommendation for shoulder and sleeves alteration?
I bought a light jacket off the shelf, and was hoping to achieve a better fit.
doesn't have to be top quality, just decent job will do.

Where's good and reliable for suit alterations? Recently got into OTR/RTW again.

And also it's interesting to see Iris popping up. I used to patronize them for bespoke but they were so swamped with business & regular price hikes that sometimes I find that they don't really have time.

Anyone has any new insights on their volume? I used to think they were too swamped so I starting taking my business elsewhere.

Am interested to know the scene in general now. My sense is the whole covid and wfh put a dent on the momentum for tailoring and perhaps more so for suit.

the ongoing mr porter sale, it is quite apparent that ties are not moving much, compared with the past and relative to other items.. and some are real good pieces

What color shirt n Tie will match a Navy suit? I'm color blind.

A few rocommendations then I can ask the tailor n then see which looks good.

White or light blue shirt are safe choices. I would do a forest green or deep burgundy tie if you're looking at solid colours. If not my preference is for navy and burgundy repp ties.

Need some recommendation for tailored suit for multiple uses (business and wedding). Been to Afew tailor for quote, reddot bespoke ($1200, full canvas horse hair, 100% wool with silk inner lining) and also suityourself ($498, half canvas horse hair cotton blend, 100%wool with silk inner lining +$$ for button thread customisation etc). Budget $500-$1000 but really am just looking for most bang for buck.

Would like to hear some up to date recommendations!

I'd recommend Mills at Keong Saik.

You can look for Ethan. I personally think he did a very good job when I was getting suits and tops made there
