One of the best all round midfielders in the Premier League put on a show on Saturday evening.

Yves Bissouma, 24, put in an outstanding performance to help Brighton to a 2-0 win over Watford.

Bissouma provided the assist for Brighton’s second goal, showing a rarely seen side of his game.

It was in the defensive phase where Bissouma really excelled as he ensured Brighton kept a clean sheet.

Bissouma led his team with four tackles won and five interceptions in the win, also making eight ball recoveries. He also made two successful dribbles.

United saw last season how difficult Bissouma can be to play against, when he made six interceptions and won three tackles.

Bissouma would add an energy to United’s midfield which was lacking against Southampton, and make the team more resolute.

Four years younger than Fred, Bissouma could be a replacement for the Brazilian as much as he is for Nemanja Matic.

Bissouma’s defensive capability could make him an ideal partner in the centre for Paul Pogba or Donny van de Beek, providing a much needed balance.

Even at this late stage of the window, Bissouma could be affordable. The Athletic speculated earlier this year he could cost around £40 million.

This is a do-able deal for United, if the club have the willpower. Sunday’s performance showed the need to make a new addition.

He is cheaper than Declan Rice. Able to play well in the Premier league. There is still time to sign him.

Was VDB bought by PE teacher?

my bet next game Sancho and Varane to be benched again. Marsiao to start.

we will laboured against Wolves to barely draw or even lose.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stressed Donny van de Beek will be important for Manchester United this season after he was unused for the second game running against Southampton.

Always said VDB is important for the team but he is often on the bench. How is he going to perform on the bench? VDB will be faster & have more stamina than Matic.
He is taking the piss...Think he’s enjoying trolling VDB :s22:

What is he talking about???
Matic was good?
Martial had over chance over 60 min was good enough??

“…Whenever you don't win a game you look at it but I always look at it as much when you win as well," Solskjaer said. "What could we have done differently.

"I thought Nemanja [Matic] was excellent, Antho [Martial] was close to scoring a goal but Jadon and Donny will be important for us….”

cavani can start for epl games and rest for cup games like ucl, fa etc but seems like ole prefer martial or maybe due to owner's pressure.
Better be careful who to field. If field the wrong players at the end of the season Man Utd may not be among the top 4 teams. Tottenham or Leicester may get into the top 4.

Lukaku was immediately sold when Solskjaer become manager. Yesterday he scored against Arsenal in the 15th min. Defenders are scared of his size. Hope Maguire, Varane & Lindelof will be able to handle him. Most likely have to field 3 centre backs when playing against Chelsea.

Arsenal didn't field 3 centre backs against Chelsea. Game over for Arsenal in the 1st half when Chelsea scored the 2nd goal.

Ole is just a wimp
Say play what United Way, I don't see it here during your tenure.
He's ******* fortunate to be playing under SAF if it's Fergie the current whole team will be ****** by him for such performance
******* Ole, stop being a ****** and grow some balls
You are nothing but just a Molde/Cardiff City level type of manager
