Btw my Sa dropped more than 6% after the recent re-opt, how abt yours??
Mine also dropped quite abit. Was the 20% risk porfoilo. Selected it initially bcos of relatively low exposure to china tech among the various risk levels. But somehow SA tot its a good idea to double the exposure even tho there were significant regularotry risks from china. Lucky my holding in SA was relatively small and i ve stopped my monthly transfer into it. A few of my friends who invested in SA have also stopped their monthly invest and some even liquidated all their holdings. They couldnt understand SA rationale for their position on china tech and energy.

My SA36 ytd is -7% because of kweb keep dropping. Not sure should hold or withdraw all. I should withdraw before re-opt last time.
Luckily not really a lot inside.
My SA36 ytd almost -9%. I am also considering whether to hold or withdraw. Anybody can top mine ytd? Hahaha

returns should be secondary consideration since investment in such supposed to be long term.

most importantly is your investment approach aligned with StashAway?
does their investment methodology make sense to your?

do you prefer to invest in broad base etf indexes and achieve market returns or rely on Stashaway asset allocation to achieve better than market returns?

if your answer is yes to all 3, then might be good to stay on.

if your answer is not sure or no, then you should not be investing through them.

Winter u cannot beat sambuca:
wow ok hands down, sambuca wins haha, are u holding as well?

I started about 2019 SA18, withdraw all the earnings somewhere in late 2020, and started afresh SA36 late 2020.

ah.. I am leaning more towards not sure or no :D. I need to withdraw everything by year end again. but not sure should I stall till then or just withdraw now. #firstworldproblem

wdrw SA soon is my ultimate goal too!!!!!
I see no reason to use SA at all, anymore.

For cash management, SA’s projected return is a puny 1.2%, endowus’ projected return Is 2.1%

For income/dividend based investment, SA projected return is only about 4%, also lower versus Syfe REIT+/ Endowus 100% fixed income advised portfolio

For aggressive investing, see the above analysis, the article comparing all the Robos in SG, SA is also one of the weakest performing one

buying etf is one time cost per purchase. robo need to pay yearly fees. job restrictions on stocks purchase on authorized brokers can also play a part in your choice. you need to know these before making your decision. for robos also depend what you want to invest in.
