I noticed that in the early days of the preorder, most of the comments here are about preordering from Samsung SG. Not a lot of people commented on preordering from other platforms (Telco, included).

Probably the number of preorders received by Samsung SG is large, hence need additional shipments of the phone to fulfill the preorder numbers.

As the shipment for the Samsung SG preorders get delayed, more people started to cancel the preorder from
Samsung SG and look to the other platforms which will have stock as initially not many people were preordering from them. Hence, the other platforms are able to fulfill the orders in a very short time. Meanwhile, Samsung SG could still be waiting for more shipments of the phone.

The retail date of the phone is approaching. The last I heard was 10th September (I could be wrong). Just a couple more days to go for the retail sales. Most likely there will be retail promotions. Whether the retail promotion is better or the preorder promotion is better, we will have to wait and see.

The issue we have is that those who preordained later from Samsung sg are getting their orders fulfilled first rather then those who preordered on the day preorder opened.

Guys you won't believe this but the Z Fold 3's battery life is incredible considering it's size.

7h 5min, I will post the stats in a while when I get the device up and running again.
60% Inner Screen usage 40% Cover screen usage.
Based on Samsung settings app, it shows a big longer on Accubattery as Samsung setting did not measure first few minutes of screen on time for some reason.

Anyone using the google gmail app having issues with the notification? For me, the notification pop up comes in showing the previous email instead of the current 1 but if drag down notification panel, it will shows the current email tt came in.

I feel it’s more like they had a system error which did not push the earlier PO for order processing and instead later orders get processed earlier.. probably by the time they found out their existing stock is already exhausted so early PO get pushed to later batch and later orders get it earlier

I believe due to high demand, the retail of the fold 3 will only be available after 4th Oct

Hi, like to check with current F3 users, when u watch movie, does it have 2 black bars (top & bottom)?
Read in GSMarena, due to the odd size of the phone screen, there will always be 2 black bars(top & bottom) unless the app maker do something to fit F3 screen?
Can anyone share? Thank u very much

Facebook app seems very different on the F3 also...like the extra tabs of videos and Group, it doesnt show on F3.
Telegram's bubble notification also cant show text...

If you download movie into your phone, can use VLC player to fill the whole screen without zoom.
If youtube, netflix, disney+ or other app, unfortunately no but I wish to know if any third party app to auto fill instead of zoom.

I usually download via app or watch it via stream.. At first I thought can fill the whole screen till I read the article in GSMarena..
Hmm.. Guess I'll cancel my order then. Quite happy with my N10+ still
