The $100 coupon while released in limited quantities, at least can be legitimately claimed and redeemed at checkout unlike next door where coupons supposedly released at 12am but fully redeemed in a matter of seconds. Had nothing i wanted to buy this time round but hopefully Qoo10 will bring back the $100 coupon during 11/11 sale or release 20-25% value coupons. But at the very least it nice to see Qoo10 bucking the trend of local e-comms sites giving shittier and shittier discounts.

Also want to buy stuff online better buy them now because imposing of GST for goods below $400 imported by air or post will be put into law soon and implemented come 2023.

I agree! Qoo10 earns more of my money coz I buy big ticket items like TV from Qoo10 solely due to the good discount given to items with big price tag. Next door neighbour can only earn my $0.10 with those kachang puteih items like phone cables and protectors. Nv bought anything more than $100 from Shopee before

Yah. I still like Qoo10 better, especially qexpress delivery and use of qprime to combine.

But often have to buy from shoppee because item not available or at much lower price.

Nvr check TV deals at besk denki or courts? They sometimes have sales that are comparable to qoo10 & lzd. Also, i realised some big tix items in qoo10 is more ex than lzd, maybe due to high commission imposed. After discount, cant beat lzd at times.

Nvr check TV deals at besk denki or courts? They sometimes have sales that are comparable to qoo10 & lzd. Also, i realised some big tix items in qoo10 is more ex than lzd, maybe due to high commission imposed. After discount, cant beat lzd at times.

I cannot say for all brands of TV Qoo10 definitely gives the best deal but for my needs I checked courts, audiohouse, gain city website. In the end I bought from audiohouse from Qoo10 website instead of from their own website becoz the difficulty to utilise the cash rebate given audio house as it is only limited to their own website. Rebate on Qoo10 can still be use to buy frozen meats and groceries if I am desperate. I cannot eat the rice cooker bought at AH if I hv no money to buy the rice in the first place.

Plus I have my own additional ways to max out the discount with the use of brandmon/mameQ/qpoints/qcoins beyond the standard coupons (this is an investment of time, sweat and effort over long periods) so it is very hard to beat the kind of discount Qoo10 can offer me. I was never on Lazada so I cannot comment.

You are correct. I would say qoo10 is much easier to utilise the rebates or credits.
Many groceries to buy. Plus it deliver to your place.

I guess this kind of perks probably we are able to enjoy during this era. When E commerce becomes too common, i guess they will reduce their promotion. Look at redmart and amazon fresh delivery. They are getting the same price as NTUC.

About 3 years ago i was looking to get a new washing machine. Went to check out MegaDiscount store as they were running some anniversary sale. The model i was aiming to get was going for $428 promo price in store. Then i remembered MegaDiscount has a e-store on qoo10 and lo and behold, the same model was going for $70 cheaper pre-coupon on their qoo10 store. Slap on coupon and qpoints and i ended up saving around $120 compared to in store price.

For stores like Courts, Harvey and Denki, generally they have to follow prices set out by agent. At best they bundle in some freebies which may not even be useful or worth it. Also, they charge you additional $20-30 if you opt for home delivery. Lastly, in the current pan(end)emic situation, not everybody is willing to put in the effort to go around and compare prices. Shop online at one's convenience is the way to go.
