It is our deepest regret to inform you that Ohm is exiting the retail electricity market with effect from 15-Oct-2021. We will continue to serve you until you have been transferred back to SP Group. Over the past few months, we have seen a volatile electricity market that has made the pricing of our plans at lower than Regulated Tariff unsustainable.

We have always believed that our customers are our most valuable assets, and our motto has been to put you, our customers, first. This belief has been the guiding direction, for all of us in Ohm. It is therefore with sadness that we exit the retail electricity market, and part ways with you.

What does this mean for Ohm Customers?

We are currently working with EMA and SP Group to ensure a smooth transfer of all our existing customers to SP Group. We would like to assure you there will be no disruption to your electricity supply.

We are aware that your contract is at a lower value than the current regulated tariff. While not a requirement on our part, but as a token of our appreciation for your support, we would like to present you with an ex-gratia payment, which you can expect on your final bill with us. The ex-gratia payment is based on (a) the estimated consumption of your remaining contract period with us and (b) the difference in pricing between your current contract and a reasonable estimate of the prevailing market rate.

Thank you for your support. It has been an honour to serve you."
