There is nothing kum gong about it . All the electricity to the home is still provided by SP. Just that it is billed by the OEM retailers. In the case. SP is playing the role of the provider and transporter. Before signing up. It is already explained when will happen if the retailers closed shop. Household under ohm no need to worry about electricity being cut off.

U already say already. Everything done by SP so how does one expect others to do a cheaper job when SP themselves can do that?

If stick to SP. It is paying the rate that being regulated and set by EMA . Retailers is offering cheaper fixed rate. So that is the difference. I saved about 20% by switching to other retailers. I used to pay more than $100 a month for my bills including gas and water . Now even my wife WFH. My bills still won't exceed more than $100.
