It's true. I usually tend to follow V8, which to me, is more of a realistic number.
I see.
Looks like this mercurytech guy is having price cut again on 11/11.
$215 for p11 before any vouchers applied.

You very bad. Tempt people again. And this is why Lenovo Xiaoxin series is making even Alldocube and Teclast look expensive.I see.

Xiaoxin Pad Plus also has microsd card support whereas the Mi Pad 5 lacks it.Been tearing apart between getting MiPad 5 or XiaoXin Pad Plus.
For Xiaomi I will getting 120Hz + local warranty + default global ROM
For Xiaoxin I will get full feature type c port that support video out.
Left less than 2 days until 1111 sales, hope I can made up my mind

Yeah, unisoc weaker than iplay40 and t40+.Well, I don't appreciate people who put down certain brands or products without doing them justice.
The kpad is not positioned at an attractive price point. It's better than iplay 30 but weaker than iplay40. Frankly speaking, depending on what u will be using for, I would, like most people, recommend the Lenovo p11.
Neither are good performers when it comes to gaming, but u get 6gb ram and 128gb storage at around the same price point. Lenovo's build quality and parts are also better, even though the CPU is slightly weaker than kpad.
Just do note that if u do get the p11 online and it comes in cn ROM, do not do ota upgrade if u want to flash to global ROM. Once it is upgraded to 12.6 cn ROM, u cannot convert it to global ROM anymore.

But below 200, rather attractive replacement and can stuff in a sim card too.
I'm quite happy with the chuwi apart from the crappy touchscreen (4point instead of 10point).
Does everything i need it to do...
Agree with you that lenovo build quality is definitely on par with xiaomi if not better.
Pity no sim slot tho.
Yeah... i go mcdonald to sign in wifi with mi pad 5... forgot no sim card so everytime need to sign inIt's really up to u. If the sim slot is impt to u, then kpad might be a good choice.
I have to admit, when I move from iplay40 to Lenovo pad pro, the first thing I miss is the sim slot. Easy and convenient sign in to wireless@sg hotspots using sim sign-in and also double up as a phone if there is a need.

Not much difference cos the China ROM supports GMS... can sideload (install) GMS (find APK online) and you can run Google Playstore and Google Framework just like any normal international or global ROM... from my short experience with the China ROM (ZUI ROM), some parts of the menu are still in Chinese... those in the deeper parts of the menu... things may have changed with new updates to the latest ZUI ROM...any idea if i buy p11 from mercry guy from shopee , does he flash to global rom?
or how to flash to global rom
actually china rom vs global rom whast difff? no play store?
The Lenovos also no SIM card, so also must sign in all the time...Yeah... i go mcdonald to sign in wifi with mi pad 5... forgot no sim card so everytime need to sign in
Are u using pad plus?To help u make your decision...
Mi pad 5 is an excellent standalone tablet. Faster processor for gaming, high refresh rate also benefits gaming well.
However, if your usecase include interfacing with other devices, eg, connect to hdmi, file transfers to your PC, etc, Lenovo is a better choice, noting that mi pad 5 has a USB 2.0 where lenovo pad plus has a full USB 3.1.
Morever, fast and high capacity SD cards like Samsung Evo plus is now very cheap, which makes the lack of micro SD port even more glaring.
I cannot help but pop in a 512gb SD card into my tablet.

Given the amount of storage I gobble up, Lenovo is my obvious choice.

You can ask the seller to flash for you but note that Bro Remless has found out that ZUI ROM 12.6 onwards cannot flash to global ROM... so you have to ask the seller what version of the ZUI ROM the P11 comes from... and if it comes by default with version 12.6, then you have to live with the ZUI ROM cos cannot update to global ROM...
I supposed if the user doesn't need your apps then no issue... any issues with Google Apps? After using zui (well... I got to live with it anyway), I think there are a lot of differences beyond the language support and ability to install Google services. I will highlight some pros and cons of zui from my personal experience.
Pros:
- Zui is very well optimized. It's smooth and fluid for performance and battery life.
- As a vendor skinned UI, there are a lot of nice features and customization options.
- Some built in features are actually very good, like the screen recorder. Better than the apps available in play store.
Cons:
- It's too aggressively optimized, which I found it similar to cn miui. Up to now, I still cannot get notifications working. This can be a deal breaker for people who wants to use it for productivity or messaging. I do not get any notification when there is a new email or new Whatsapp msg. For these users, it's better to go for global ROM.
- Because of over aggressive optimizations, some background services are killed and affect in app purchases especially for gaming.

This is the in app store in genshin impact. The products page fail to load.
Though I found a solution. Minimize the game and launch google play store. Keep google play store in the background and go back to the game. The products page will then load. Works for every game/app I tried with in-app purchases.
The same thing happens for YouTube vanced if u login via microG. YouTube vanced will fail to load your account.
Solution: choose add account in YouTube vanced and cancel the add account process. Your account will then load.
- it seems to have some app compatibility issue, though out of all apps I installed or sideloaded, I encounter this issue only with 1 app, so this should be minor.

This is an IPTV app which I have no problems running it even on Android 5.1 devices. Under zui it refuses to work properly.
Found a solution: install a 2nd copy of the app via zui's multiple space feature. The clone works perfectly.
It's not that bad for a skinned UI, just some quirks.
I supposed if the user doesn't need your apps then no issue... any issues with Google Apps?
