Moi 2 in-laws...both GCBs, one running/own Sg biggest local audit coy the other own practice at Mt E.
One is down to earth and all BMWs, the other 2 cars and both will go for good hawker food.
Go trips regularly, no worry on finance.

Another is juz army friend, fish farmer but coy public list deh....

Isn’t it very comfortable already compared to the lower-middle class that earns $2-3k with young children and elderly parents to support. Finances are very very extremely tight trying to make ends meet.

It a not “rich” level.

I would also say that many at that level also feel squeezed. Of course it’s due to expectations - but really it’s because the higher income is got through pure labour as opposed to the “real” rich which get income mostly through capital
