So I turn on my WiFi 24/7 ever since my first phone which is a galaxy s2 and only until a few days ago did I start encountering this weird issue asp topic.
Currently on:
Huawei p30 pro
Circles.life
Phone is new, Sim card was delivered to me 2 days ago.
No need for me to key in login or password even tho the wireless@sgx is encrypted. It will successfully auto connect by itself.
I went into my WiFi settings, disconnected and forget the wireless@sgx network profile, thinking that would solve the problem.
But no, the moment I get into another hotspot it will connect again automatically!
I've spoken to both singtel(where I registered initially donkey years ago) and circles.life Cso. Both were as puzzled as me and couldn't give me an answer.
I tried disabling Google backup thinking they were saving my WiFi profile, but nope, still happening.
The only info I have atm is that wireless@sgx uses sim as the eap method. I do not know what that means but I assume it has something to do with the sim card?
My network selection is auto (preferred network: circles) if it helps.
Any advice from the gurus here? I do not want to turn off my WiFi if I can help it. Thanks!
