Xiaomi Mi Max 3 - Come in!

I am stuck in Mi Max 1 since 2016. Still give me very good battery life till date for my usage. Missed the 20X now yet to find a phone that I really "want" it. Recent phone either too small or too long.

I saw shopee got sell global version Max3 from China. Anybody know what is that mean? Not sure if trustable anot.

Thanks man...this the one I saw too. Global version is similar to what we bought it locally? I mean can use right away without any root or compatibility issue right?

I know mi max series is good and i like it too but u really need to move on to other model
Spending 280 for this phone is wasting money
Look at the specs, sd636, lcd screen, super lousy camera, no nfc
Not to mention, the phone is released 2018, the android updates should be stopping soon or maybe alr stopped updating now

I came from max series as well, move on long ago
Many ppl not used to newer model due to the screen size but u have to move on really
Eventually u will get used to the newer screen size

Closest to max 3 price should b poco x3 pro if u are into processor
Increase little bit redmi note 10 pro if u are into camera
Increase somemore mayb poco f3 or the new poco x3 gt

just sharing my tots. i recently got from Shopee and from a CN weird name seller.. so ended up the deal is not GREAT and a refund is underway. global version, "brand new" but false review like MIUI can be upgraded. I had upgraded but was tied to a CN account, cannot upgrade, causing device lock and SG shop in racecourse road cannot fix it.

SO lesson learnt, Max3 no longer is a new so have to live with it. Not sure about hktelecom, but 4+64GB is like kids toy. Now 128gb min and 256gb preferred though max3 has memory slot.

Im hesitating on Poco X3 vs Mi11 Pro but latter is really ex .. $900+
Why xiaomi stop at 6.67 or 6.8" ...

I duno why u are comparing x3 and m11p, both model are diff class
Mi 11 pro is flagship model, pro is top tier model somemore
U go where find a flagship cost 900+ from other brands?

i didnt say its a compare anyway. individual preference right. i do not look at the class variant, im looking for features, screens > 6.8 X3 doesnt fit the bill but given IR, NFC, battery, etc X3 variant ok. if looking at screensize. Mi11 fit e bil on 6.8". if u say dollar and cents value against m11, tts where galaxy S20/S21 comes in but the price is doubled. but speaking on this thread,

im already telling myself now, Max3 is extinct. U cannot really find it anymore. the last i ordered directly from CN, a shitty move to CN 12.0.1, i cannot revert back to global and am stuck now. 12.5.1 global isnt out since Jun release.

I'm still using Xiaomi Mi Max 3 for daily use as of now, already changed the internal battery once earlier this year, however I feel the system is getting slow after each update. Recently I found one brand "Infinix" that is quite popular in the European countries, but not in Asian countries. Their range of models has a smartphone "Note 8 (MediaTek)" which is similar in size to MM3.
