I disagree though, still struggling to find a phone with large enough display like Max 3 as replacement. Their largest phones have similar size but they are significantly taller displays. Hoping they resurrect the Max line.

Guys if anyone is rooted go for the MIUI PLUS 12.5 RoM which is very good. It is based on miui 12.5. since it is GSI you can use both miui cam as well as gcam

Time to move to a new device, Mi Max 3 folks... :)

There are quite a lot of new and recently launched devices that can replace Mi Max 3 in terms of price and screen size already... :)

My Mi Max 1 battery life is getting shorter and shorter. This is my 2nd after the original died 2 yrs ago. Don't think can get later on.

Some bank app don't work on android 7. Also apps memory usage creeping up, 4GB start to lag bc I'm using 2nd space for separation security(it's like 2 phones w only 2GB each).

So I may be forced to change soon.

1. What new phones now have 2nd space? Lots of my friends nowadays carry 2 phones bc their whatsapp got hacked.

2. If have to change, at least oled 120hz compensate for loss of biggg screen.

Redmi Note 10 Pro, MIUI 12 still has second space. 120Hz AMOLED display, got 8GB RAM version. Poco X3 NFC has 120Hz display but it's IPS LCD, also a good choice if you don't mind that.

I thought Xiaomi stopped 2nd Space bc so rare to hear anybody using it.

Nowadays, many people carry 2 phones, one for secure apps like banking, office business etc
One for casual apps.
It's very funny seeing them holding 2 phones back to back.

I carry one big phone that's much less bulky. But I didn't tell them to use 2nd Space because not much investigation whether that's safer.

So far my WhatsApp is heavily spammed by loan agents, property agents, betting agents. But Still not hacked.

2nd space is why i have Xiaomi. I run local Starhub sim and Google Fi on 2nd sim. Each SIM has its own app.

Likewise, now this becomes my most important criteria for new phone.
Nowadays it's so common to hear phones getting hacked, most
people are taking security seriously.

Okay, looks like the Poco F3 is a very good replacement for my Max1.
No choice, bigger screen means cost more for the suppliers. In this competitive market, they try to cut costs to compete so nobody want to sell VALUE big phone. Big screen becomes one of the features for flagship phones. Even Apple is also adopting this.

Last time those Apple sheep used to boast about their tinnee wenee little iPhones with pride and called big phone "bricks".
Then when Apple also adopted MAX iPhone, they lose face, they kpkb and insist must only buy tinny iPhone. Apple thought to pacify them and sold iPhone 12 mini, only to find very pathetic sales. Looks like these very minorities are very noisy complain kings only.

164 race course road. $239. I ask them open and show me. 1st set I bought online cannot charge so I went and exchange.
I saw this from race course and 1 more shop from Tampines. but all were demo units/unseal and still selling closing 300+.
If not wrong race course side selling with 1 week warranty.
