To be fair, Russia’s constitution just states that each president cannot last for more than 2 consecutive terms and did not state that he/she cannot be re-elected after that.

he basically uses a loophole, and put in a puppet 1 term president while he steps down as the Vice President and then got himself re-elected as the president again.

he is likely to do that again and nobody can say anything. This is not the US or anyone business.

but if there is one thing that is right, he don’t have an apparent successor which is something glaring because the moment he passes on (I don’t believe he will ever step down voluntarily), there will be a lot of infighting for the power vacuum.
