I have seen how a couple of tiong trading companies, using local shell company as facade, used a certain common commodity to barter trade with a couple of southeast asian countries by container loads back before bitcoin exists, and how they used loophole in documentation to mask part of the shipping routes, both origin and destination. So I assume Russia may take advantage of crypto being more mobile and discreet alternative to that particular common commodity for international transaction.

However, as some edmwers here mentioned, btc movement can be controlled by foreign means, so that's that Russia, or specifically Putin, is screwed big time

Ukraine is almost landlocked with Russia and the invasion is not easy. The Taiwan straits is 180km wide with choppy waters. It will be many times more difficult if not near impossible imo. And China will leave herself vulnerable on other borders. The International reaction to an invasion to Taiwan will be far more stronger and more united. I don't see it happening unless Taiwan do the extreme and declare independence.

What's wrong with the current status quo? As long as Taiwan don't move towards independence. I really don't think Xi can reunite Taiwan militarily in his lifetime. This 40 miles convoy, if not stopped, means kiev confirm gg, at least in terms of control. Many lives will be lost as well.

They cant stop it now because they dont have the tools to do so, and zerging it will cause massive death to their soldiers with little effect.

However, if NATO were to uno reverse now and do air strikes, once this 40 mile convoy is down, Putin can go home already. Wishy thinking on NATO uno reversing from me though

That is the problem. All the former Chinese and Taiwanese Presidents were content to keep the status quo.
As long Taiwan don't speak + act on the "Independence" word, China was perfectly content to let their own China people tour Taiwan, let Taiwan artistes perform in China etc.

But Bro Xi clear stated he want reunification within his life time to the CCP top brass.
