Dont sell your car lah. Now still pandemic. Avoid taking bus and mrt. If possible walk or take bicycle.

Then now petrol price go up also didnt affect me that much. Coz I WFH everyday. One mth petrol $200 at max. Only weekends go out buy groceries.
My car highway can hit 22km/litre.
I am a light footer and on expressway I never use Lane 1. Only use last lane max 70km/h. If on main road I stick to 30km/h. You all can honk me as much as you want. I dont give a damn.
Bro you driving prius for grab ah

May as well sell the car to make huge profit?

Your car basically free driving for two years if you sell now

I never quite understd how COE works despite driving for years. So if I buy a car when COE is cheap at 10k for example, when COE rise to 80k and I sell my car, I actually make a profit? Just like stocks?

I thought COE only affects new cars that u are buying

My current family car is around 3yrs plus and been toying the idea of buying a bigger model.
But COE is sky high now.

So I should wait for COE to be much lower before buying rite? If got no urgent needs

Used car price pegged to new car.
Of course you can don't buy at the price since the COE is inflated.

So it means that when new car prices are high like now, used cars prices will also increase?

Means if I sell my existing car, the price I am getting might be higher than last yr?

Cos I thought the car price will deprecate like 10-15% every year as I use it
