Hi everyone, for the first posting, it will be either to tuas, woodlands or coastal right? Do any of you guys know if this is based on where you stay? Like if you stay in the east, then you’ll be most likely posted to woodlands? And west, most likely to tuas?

This isn’t true ! Not based on where you stay. It’s most likely based on manpower needs u guess !

Hey, there’s nothing much you can prepare for. My advice is to manage your time well, and if you have time till then, read the past 10 pages of this thread to get a good idea of the whole process !

There are people who stay at one end and ends up being posted to the other end of Singapore! It’s based on manpower needs!

Hello guys, just got rejected 1 week after submitting the details on forms.sg... Not even a phone interview. Just wondering those who got accepted, what are your background like? I noticed that most senior officers are from NTU/NUS. Not sure if its because I graduated from SUSS that will lessen the chance of getting in.

I graduated from SUSS with a part time degree but was accepted.

I also heard of NTU/NUS students being rejected too.

Thats good to hear! Just wondering if you have any experience in managing a team in your previous job? Most likely i got rejected because of my irrelevant work experience...

I did managed a Team during my NS. As for my other jobs when I was studying, its mostly part time jobs. I was a grab driver , trainer so not really relevant.

But for job experience, I would highly doubt there is any job out there that would be relevant to ICA per se

Nonetheless, wish you all the best in your job hunt!
