if book in earlier means what? can explore ship earlier? can have lunch already on the ship?
Start to explore earlier, some activity is started. For eg, flowrider and almost no ppl there. Can start to book specialty restaurant if you have the unlimited dining. can book for 270 show. Lunch is available too at windjammer.

Hello everyone/gurus, I am sailing with my partner on August 22nd for the 4D3N (Dock D2 Penang) after my last cruise ages ago (think Superstar Aquarius). This is my first time on RC cruises and there are millions of questions running through my head, hope you all can provide some guidance and patience for my long questions below.

1. For Refreshment Package, does the "Premium Coffee and Teas" refer to all beverages that the Cafe Select Coffee Card covers? For the latter, if my partner does not drink caffeine drinks, is it possible to purchase for just myself?
1a. If we do not have any beverage packages, what are the drinks that we can obtain at no additional charges onboard?

2. I am considering getting The Key for both of us (understood that this must be purchased for all persons in the same room). My main concerns being Priority Access on Boarding Day (within timeslot), Priority Departure at ports-of-call, and the 2 meals (Welcome Lunch & à la carte breakfast) and choice departure, would like to seek advise regarding the following:
2a. Given the Priority Departure at Port-of-call have a separate queue, does this really reduce the time taken to disembark significantly?
2b. For the à la carte breakfast on the last day, how do I go about doing this? Is this room service or at MDR?
2c. For Choice Departure on the last day, does this refer to freedom to select time slot for departure, and is it really a big difference? What are the debarkation time slots like? From what I heard, the ship arrives back in SG by about 5am or so.

3. Prior to sailing (as of 18/Jul), is the requirement still for pre-departure testing (i.e. Tele-ART) after 6:00pm on the day prior to boarding? TBH, I am still very confused about this, is it just making an appointment for the testing on the day prior to boarding after 6:00pm, and then the "host/doctor" will verify our results and update accordingly, then our TT app will show the results after a while? And on Boarding day, just show this to the staff?

4. For drinks that i can bring onboard, it is written 2x 750ml wine/champagne (and/or?) 12x 500ml non-alcoholic. In this case, Can I bring 1 bottle of wine (750ml). 2 bottles of plain water (2x 1.5L), 2 bottles of Green Tea (2x 1.5L)?

That should be all for now, I hope not too many questions coming up again. Appreciate all your help in advance for this!

2a - Totally no benefit on this, you handover the passport on day 1, departure at port of call is super fast (just tap the seapass) and no special line for key also.

2b -no comment, did not buy key

2c - no different at all, disembark time slot is 7am to 9am. 7am-8am is free disembark, then 8am onwards follow the time slot.

this reservation is nothing, once onboard you can start to make reservation for all the meals. Wonderland is popular and limited slot, i will suggest you start with this reservation, the rest is quite ok to reserve. If you are big eater, you can also eat multiple restaurants for eg 530pm restaurant 1, 8pm restaurant 2. You can also takeaway sushi from izumi if you want to have haha. But very hard to eat so much also la. Day 2 onwards we start to order lesser on each meals.

I’m planning to maybe go teppan and Jamie so not sure I need to book any package. I thought both are ala Carte as in you pay what you ordered, but then again it looks like it’s per head charge?!
Only Sichuan Red and Izumi are ala carte price per order. If have drinks package order the Pear Juice at Sichuan Red, taste so much better than watermelon.

Wonderland do offer Lunch special where they offer different food variety from other specialty restaurant, it shld be on yr app royal lunch or something, worth a try for lunch. If going dinner at wonderland have the Halibut fish, soo good that thy can room service extra portion to yr stateroom (no charge even thou we finish everthing). the muchroom desert (very thick n rich, nice to IG but very sweet) u can request change to others like apple something, forgot the name.
Be nice and friendly to the server in charge of yr table, thy do wonders for ya.

Hi,

May I know what is the show that need to reserve as seems all is walk in?
Only shows at two70 (silk road) require booking, Royal Theatre reservation not required - walk in only. unless in star or sky or sea or Key (duno abt key) then u can come earlier 20mins to choose seats at deck 5.

Silk road i reckon might be on day 2 n day 3, timing of 8.15pm n 10.30pm.
Peng Fei Su i reckon only got day 2 show only at 7.15pm n 9.30pm
i might be wrong as well as they might change the timing or show roster.
Suggestion to have early dinner at 5plus as your food server do ask you if any plans or shows to catch so they will adjust the timing of food serve.
average of 2hours for each specialty restautants.

Hi, i submitted my vaccination record via the app for over a week now but it is still stuck at "validating". Is this normal? When do i expect it to clear?

BTW for the ART test, is it considered "Pre-Event ART" or "Pre-Departure ART"?

You might want to check with ur travel agent or RC if u book directly from them. Mine was cleared after 3-4days.
My friend's wasn't cleared even after waiting til few weeks before the cruise, they ask their TA to check and it got cleared after.

ART test as of my 7Jul cruise, it didn't matter which one. my friend took Pre-Event ART while I kiasi :ROFLMAO: go take the more ex Pre-Departure Test at 7pm the day before, they just check the status on my Trace Together app. (but we nvr disembark ah so idk if that makes a diff, got separate line for those going to MY or not, from what i see they just wan to check the blue card/mysejatera thing but can't confirm for sure.. since all of us stayed on cruise)

Mine booked onboard on 4/7. First night left 10.30pm slot for Silk Road so we just booked it. There was an earlier slot and on other night(s) if not mistaken.
My friend booked Showgirl on first night instead and it had only one show on board. She said it was better than Silk Road. Look out for it.
I find Silk Road not very interesting. Perhaps I sat on upper floor. The speakers were too loud imao.

Mine took a few weeks to clear.

Booked ART test under pre-event at JVTC. I guess it doesn't matter which. They only check for negative art result at check-in.

Youtrip rates are better than most credit cards, and it's comparable to the rates at money changer too. Sometimes even better than money changer. Previously I used Youtrip for Europe, rates even better than money changer 👍🏻 but bad thing is once we put money inside, we can't withdraw it out. If got any leftover money, can use it as Ez link card in SG. :)
hi, do u need to go settle/close the account on the last night regardless any items charge to the cabin?

Anyone also brought acarde credits before? On the cruise planner it mentioned 20% discount but on description says claim your $100 credit onboard, meaning i pay $100 for $100. Where is the 20%? haha

If you did some spending, must go and settle the account on the last day. Or else the staff will ask you to settle before you left the ship.

Before leaving the ship, you need to tap your seapass.
I saw the staff ask ppl go back and settle their account

i thought was pre event so can go CTC or JVTC or QTC but its pre departure ART. i called RC to confirm. You can call to check too. So since pre departure ART means pte clinic.
