Sure thing bro. Timeline:

3 weeks ago: I start reading the thread
Jul 11th: Decide I want to try this upcoming 6-mo, apply for an account via https://investors.sgx.com/dashboard#create-cdp-account . e-mail conf the same day. (NB: NOT a singpass info pull, I had just moved and my singpass address was still wrong)
July 12th: Receive CDP account #, told it will take more processing time. I decide to wait for that, but do put in my T-bill bid through UOB.
July 15th: Knowing the deadline was getting closer I seek to expedite the activation. I try the phone line and give up after 20 minutes and write an email to asksgx@sgx.com. I get an automated reply
Yesterday: I receive this email

I reply with

Account activated and I was notified by email. I try to submit for DCS, and conveniently it's already in process

Still dunno if I'll make it in time, but not a bad customer svc experience overall.
Thanks for this valuable info sharing. So DCS must also be in place before one can apply T-bill I see. It should be same for SSB then.

First T-bill - plan to submit 50/50 split between comp and non-comp bid. Anyone doing comp and non-comp split?

just split the liquid cash into 26 bi-weekly stashes of cash to do ladder. application is free so dump as often as you like.

you can even consider the once-a-quarter 12-mth t-bill, so total 30 stashes.

set alarm every fortnight in case forget :)
