how to utilize the 2 x 1G?
Easy setup is to dedicate 1g to gaming PC, 1g to WiFi.
If you have a good router, you can search the router's manufacturer's guide on how to do dual wan load balancing or fail over. In my opinion it provides little real world benefits. So only recommend for those who find it interesting to learn more about networking or router settings.

Normal 1G usage for me can already. No gaming. Usually streaming, YouTube or netflix only
I think Starhub or MR should be fine unless Disney+ is your deciding factor. The difference in amount for 24 months is about the yearly price ($119.98) for Disney+.

Starhub still don't have the static IP option rite?
I think Disney is only until Feb23.
With StarHub blocking major ports, a Static IP becomes much less useful. I prefer to use Tailscale.

How is this Home Phone Line works? What kind of phone I can use for this line?
A home phone? Just plug any RJ11 phone into the ONR phone port. You can choose a wired or cordless phone. If you're feeling fancy and want to set up a PABX, that's on you.

Hi guys I done with my singtel gamer 1+1 plan and wanted to recontract with MR for the Asus AX 11000 to sell :cool: Currently using the asus ax 86u with dual wan load balancing to fully utilized the 2gbps on single device like PC and phone. Samsung s21+ able to net me 950gpbs speed while download speed on pc steam is around 170mb/s.

Price wise singtel sale person said I long time customer offer me $67 for the first 6 month then $62 afterward with a free Asus AX 86u again lol.

But MR 1+1 gamer plan seem to have better routing etc. The icing on the cake is the ax11000 and price at 59.9 only. Bad part is I need to pay $56 onetime fee for the nlt activation.....

Actually you may need to pay S$50 extra for the static IP option as well. If not, you will be using CGNAT and then you may have some issues without a public IPv4 address (I tend to think you are a power user and may need a public IPv4 address).
https://myrepublic.net/sg/static-ip/
BTW, you may also check with MR on the static IP and this dual 1Gbps plan. Supposedly you will have two networks and not so sure if they will give you one static IPv4 (most likely case) or two static IPv4 addresses (unlikely).

If you think you do not need static IP (usually not needed for gaming), then MR 1+1 Gamer plan is a fine plan to go.

Yup bro I see the usage for the static IP not applicable for me. Even the current singtel 1+1 dynamic ip address also fine with me. Shall sign up MR if Tues singtel sale person can't counter offer a better deal

Not so sure any ISPs here will go with TRUE 2Gbps (not the current dual 1Gbps or aggregated 2Gbps plans). I think the ONT price is a concern for them. Last time M1 did offer the 2Gbps/5Gbps/10Gbps plan with the expensive ONT but later stopped the offering quite some years ago. Now M1, Starhub and MyRepublic only offer dual 1Gbps plan.

CGNAT (default for Viewquest and MR) is much worse than Singtel/M1/Starhub's dynamic IPv4 address. I actually prefer dynamic IPv4 address than static IPv4 address.

MR CGNAT has no public IPv4 address as all. You only get private IPv4 address which means some online gaming server may not be able to function properly, some remote access to home feature may not work either. And if that concerns you then the workaround is to get the Static IPv4 add-on from MR.

Is WAN aggregation viable in MR ONT?

No. None of the local consumer ISPs supports WAN aggregation.

Dual WAN load balancing should work, just like your current SingTel 1+1 Gamer Plan.
shag oh well think going for the MR cheaper and better option then. goodbye to singtel. bundling useless stuff and offer less value as always.

Recontact same plan or to different plan. If different plan, maybe try rebooting your ONT
