https://sumahodigest.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/image-28.pngOne of Sony Mobile's 2022 flagships, Xperia 1 IV.

Yesterday, the domestic SIM-free version with memory upgraded to 16GB was announced, giving the impression that attention is rising again among domestic users.

Now, such an Xperia 1 IV, but before, the performance on the benchmark was low among the SD8Gen1-equipped models,I told youThere is a possibility.

But this time, an interesting consideration was posted on Reddit that could overturn it.

This user has measured and recorded Geekbench benchmarks at least once a day at ( every time a new update ) security patch 3 is released.

And the following is the average benchmark score for each patch:

Single coreMulti core
5 Month10113012
6 Month10423145
7 Month11023332
8 Month11873534

3 Daily measurements, and so when calculated simply, the number of measurements per patch seems to be about 10 times.
I think the error is there, butAverage score gradually increases with single core and multi-coreYou can see what you are doing.

I haven't noticed it at all because I haven't done much benchmark score measurement itself these days, but it certainly feels more calm than before.
But I was wondering if the thickness could simply be relieved about this, but maybe it's because Sony is making little adjustments to improve performance every update.

I've seen the benchmark score change slightly in the past with major updates such as OS version up, but I've seen it a few times in the past, but for the first time that it's been a clean and improved case on a monthly minor apde. It was.

However, from another perspective, it seems that the software at the time of release of Xperia 1 IV had a fairly unfinished part.

I told you that the other day, a SIM-free version of Xperia 1 IV, which was announced the domestic release the other day, and a significantly higher benchmark score for 「Gaming Edition 」 of the same model was discovered.

if u need to shot a target that have no patient u use auto mode or basic mode?

Read HWZ Forum Rules!
With good lighting use auto/ basic mode. if for low light and you do not have the patience to wait for multi frame processing , set to program auto mode DRO off / auto ISO auto to disable multi frame noise reduction for faster saving. Try to use 24mm lens if possible or situation permits as its the widest aperture and capture most light out of the 3 sensors.

Does this mean "overheating" is still happening? I'm asking g because I'm really considering this phone.
me too. my oppo find x2 pro is over 2 years old already and have been hoping to join back xperia with IV because of its good overall specs but the overheating issues stopped me.

still waiting for more evidence that the overheating is solved before I decide.. or might just wait another year for mark V with the gen 2 chip (but god knows what new problems/issues will appear).

For those of you who wanted to purchase, read page 13 of this topic where I personally recorded more than 20 minutes of 4k video but deliberately stopped because I usually don't shoot such long videos . I'm more photo shooting haha ☺️, as well as a youtuber shooting around 20 minutes plus from his new firmware too.
