Depends what function you wanna turn on and how heavy is your usage.

My garmin venu 2 plus charged once a wk with 3-4days of gps running and connected to my phone for notification
same watch. mine is 5 to 6 days

if you run its cellular, higher sample rate for HRM and GPS... sure burn battery faster

only those models aimed for expedition or endurance racing may have extra long life from being able to disable certain sensors or if they are supplemented by solar glass like the newer garmins

I'm hoping Casio makes solar smart watch... :(
have already, like the gbd-h1000 series from G-shock... iirc ProTrek also have some smartwatch

but dont think their software is mature yet, better off waiting a few years more..... else dcrainmaker would review it lol

garmin need more competitors, else the whole adventure smartwatch sector only 1 leader everything just start to stagnant.

1 major con is G-Shock line tends to be stupid large and heavy

I don't mind large and heavy. And used to 44mm and up watches. Lol.

I think solar powered smart watch would be great. Imagine only having to charge the watch once every few months. Lol
