Love this:
Enphase Energy is a member of our Oils-Energy group, which includes 254 different companies and currently sits at #1 in the Zacks Sector Rank. The Zacks Sector Rank includes 16 different groups and is listed in order from best to worst in terms of the average Zacks Rank of the individual companies within each of these sectors.
The Zacks Rank emphasizes earnings estimates and estimate revisions to find stocks with improving earnings outlooks. This system has a long record of success, and these stocks tend to be on track to beat the market over the next one to three months. Enphase Energy is currently sporting a Zacks Rank of #2 (Buy).
Over the past three months, the Zacks Consensus Estimate for ENPH's full-year earnings has moved 23.3% higher. This shows that analyst sentiment has improved and the company's earnings outlook is stronger.
According to our latest data, ENPH has moved about 51.7% on a year-to-date basis. Meanwhile, stocks in the Oils-Energy group have gained about 19.4% on average. As we can see, Enphase Energy is performing better than its sector in the calendar year.
Another Oils-Energy stock, which has outperformed the sector so far this year, is Nine Energy Service (NINE). The stock has returned 164% year-to-date.
In Nine Energy Service's case, the consensus EPS estimate for the current year increased 140% over the past three months. The stock currently has a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy).
Breaking things down more, Enphase Energy is a member of the Solar industry, which includes 16 individual companies and currently sits at #94 in the Zacks Industry Rank. This group has gained an average of 11.3% so far this year, so ENPH is performing better in this area.
In contrast, Nine Energy Service falls under the Oil and Gas - Field Services industry. Currently, this industry has 26 stocks and is ranked #42. Since the beginning of the year, the industry has moved -10.7%.
Going forward, investors interested in Oils-Energy stocks should continue to pay close attention to Enphase Energy and Nine Energy Service as they could maintain their solid performance.

OPEC+ Considers Cut to Output Limit of as Much as 2 Million B/D

  • Options for smaller cuts may also be discussed, delegates say
  • The group would make supply curbs from existing baselines

The group may discuss a cut of that size, plus smaller reductions ranging from 1 million to 1.5 million barrels a day, when it meets on Wednesday, delegates said. Any curbs would use existing baselines to measure each country’s contribution, one delegate said.

Several members are already pumping far below their officials quotas, meaning they could automatically be in compliance with their new limit without having to curb production. It could still result in the cartel’s largest reduction since the deep cuts agreed at the outset of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, but the actual impact on global oil supply could be significantly smaller than the headline number suggests.

A reduction of that size, if it were to be agreed tomorrow at the meeting of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies in Vienna, would reflect the scale of the producer group’s concern that the global economy is slowing in the face of rapidly tightening monetary policy.
Earlier this year, Brent crude soared above $125 a barrel following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February. It’s since dropped, tempering the spectacular windfall enjoyed by Saudi Arabia, Russia, the United Arab Emirates and other major producers.

yes!!! let's enjoy the rally,... finally it came! Lost 3 stock positions during the chop, left only 1 stock.
So bitcoin (BTCUSD) was telling the truth. You cannot print BTC out of thin air and short BTC.

Yesterday, traders sold into the rally and booked profits.
Strongest China ADR spotted: Pinduoduo (PDD)
May surpass BABA in terms of price action.

Strongest ETF is probably Oil & Gas Exploration: XOP

Another: XLE, PBF, MUR

REM (real estate) crashing proves that real estate needs to be avoided at all cost (or should be shorted).

If the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is still draining, but OPEC+ confirmed cutting, then how will oil price be when SPR needs to start refilling??

Opec is telling US Govt that the $80/bbl is the floor for oil price. It should not go lower. Don't try to lower US inflation by crashing the oil price. In other words, even if US and the world goes into recession, OPEC will ensure price of oil stays 80/bbl and above. No cheap oil.

OPEC trying to avoid selling oil at a loss similar to Mar 2020 when the price dropped to $0 from oversupply and low demand. Europe better get their act together on nuclear power and renewable energy. Europe is a large supplier of arms to Middle East countries, can similar jack up the prices to recoup

Saudi Arabia imports Weapons primarily from: United States ($614M), South Korea ($104M), Spain ($67.7M), France ($49.8M), and Slovakia ($19.5M). The fastest growing import markets in Weapons for Saudi Arabia between 2019 and 2020 were South Korea ($53.6M), Spain ($52.7M), and Slovakia ($12.6M).

AMD sinks after early peek at revenue shows steep shortfall

ADVANCED Micro Devices’ (AMD) preliminary third-quarter sales missed projections by more than US$1 billion, adding to concerns about the sputtering market for personal computer (PC) chips and sending its shares sliding in late trading.

Revenue in the period was about US$5.6 billion, the company said on Thursday (Oct 6) in a statement, giving an early peek at numbers that were expected in the coming weeks. The average analyst estimate - and the company’s own forecast - had been about US$6.7 billion.

Like its peers, AMD blamed the PC market for hurting sales, citing weaker demand and a build-up of inventory in the supply chain. The third quarter also will include US$160 million in writedowns related to inventory, pricing and other issues, the company said.

BERZ outperforms SQQQ for shorting overvalued big tech in a targeted fashion.

Crude oil no longer weakening even with the threat of more rate hikes.

One of the wheel came off. The oil wheel got detached off. Not sure whether I should laugh if there will be a deal or some backtracking in future. Ridiculous.
