I recently applied VEP and just received approval this morning. But after reading through the issues for TnG verification, can I don’t stick the vep tag now?

I am only able to access the new website, after registering for new VEP for current car. My old car was sold 2 years ago, and VEP from old car still haven't deregister. But went ahead to register for the new car, and got redirected to new website to upload the necessary documents.

Now is waiting game. But I foresee some problems ahead. My TnG e-wallet is registered using passport, and still linked to my old car RFID tag. Not sure if the counter staff would be able to resolve this.

If can't, then I will keep hardcopy VEP confirmation, and just status quo what I am currently doing. Just use TnG card as per normal, and e-wallet at retailers.

if you didn't de-register your old car, my understand is if the new owner of your old car drove in and got summon, it will link to you.

that's the new VEP system. vepams
May I ask how long did it take for vepams to approve/validate your VEP TAG? I got my tag, paste it on my car on Sep 10 night and uploaded the photo. Now the site still says my Tag is not validated yet.

Oh, your TnG eWallet is registered using passport & linked to RFID tag? Heard from many people that eWallet must register with NRIC to link with VEP? Thanks.

I went in Malaysia through Tuas second link yesterday night. I intended to tap on the tng card but the gate suddenly open up. I didn't know what happen only then I received the notification from my tng app - just realize it was deducted directly from my app. :o

So you were using the RFID enabled lane I think. If I'm not wrong, not all lanes are RFID enabled, for those, just use TNG card

Yup i am using this thru causeway since it open up. VEP was active before covid.
Now only make sure the e-wallet has enough to make the auto deduction after chopping passport.

Only more convenient, rates are all the same anyway.
