Should allow at least 1 family member to check the family member at ED/A&E.

Can understand how the family member feel if they can't even go in check on them.

The 70s to 100s yo parent is probably put at one corner by A&E staff.

Whether they have blanket, pillow the family member don't know.

The parent who is critically ill cannot speak up themselves.

Blame peasants again when it's their own problem. Hello, it is LONG waiting time for bed when they go to A&E for emergency cases. Obviously, non-emergency cases are NOT admitted. Pass the buck to peasant when ownself beh gan means what?

All along even before Covid, we already don’t have enough doctors .

Our “ wise” government didn’t want too many locals to become doctors .
This government policy blew up in our faces during the pandemic.

As for hospital beds, I recently sent my dad to hospital A&E via ambulance.
I can confirm that it takes about 1 day before getting a hospital bed .
The patient will likely be lying about with many others in a makeshift waiting area with tents and whatnot .
