Did so, they couldn’t advise and directed my call to Apple Store but then nobody picked up.

Purpose was to hit minimum spend amounts on different CCs.

Ok then it’s very confusing.

I don’t think can order refurb in store.

so only online.

and since you want to split payment; then you say can only done over the phone.

Then you question whether people on the phone will give you wrong information.

But if they are the only ppl who can execute the order for you, who else will know better than them?

because i ever split my payment into two cards before some years back so initially wanted to check what is the maximum number of cards i can use.

called and was surprised to be told only one card and eight gift cards. the cso also had to check before answering me so i have doubts whether this is true.

Like you said it’s a few years back and it’s possible that policy/procedure might have changed

u guys never encounter cso A telling you one thing and cso B telling you another? just look at the threads in telcos and money mind, its so common never mind whether they are big companies or not.

so the reason i am posting this thread is to ask if anyone recently, in the last few months managed to split payment. then at least i know it still works.

You may definitely continue to wait to see if the limited population of people who visits the forum here and post have such experience.

but would it not be better to call their hotline at different times and see if you get a different answer from a different staff?

because no matter what people say here, at the end of the day it’s the staff over the phone that has to execute it.

if they insist you can’t, no matter what other people say wouldn’t make a difference.

did you share with them your past experience and ask when did the policy/procedure change?
