Sad for him
He’s 51 alrdy but penniless & homeless at such an age
The way he talks like a bit frivolous & not anchored. He says his frens all came from money and he got influenced by them as he spent like them but he failed to realise he came from a humble background 🤦🏻🤷

No pity for such people. It doesn't take a genius to know you have to save up for rainy days. You don't have to be taught this. Its just basic common sense.

Then no job no money, how he even buy 2 room BTO?

HDB so generous to Lend money to a beggar?

even 20% down payment also need $60-80k at least.
if you watched the beedio you would see he’s describing the low point of life which he’s no longer at now. He has this jod for quite a while alrdy. I believe he started saving from then which was why he became eligible to apply for a 2-rm BTO which is $160-250K, location dependent

I believe he still has the relevant skills (i.e. architectural photography - a very niche industry in SG).

This type of people has no problem getting a job. He is going to get his flat soon.

He will definitely turn his life around.

edmw typical first response is to sh*t on him first

realise that all of us are just like him - just one wrong step away from financial ruin

this is a country where there aren't as much safety nets as western countries

He has assets such as luxury watches and can sell them away. How come still can become poor?
