I bought the offer Konka 50QR672 4K UHD LED Android TV from Giant at only $399. Using DBS Yuu credit card might entitled you $250 cash back if you spend $500 or above on the same month card issued (t&C applied). Purchased on 19/11/2022.

They packed the tv together with a pair of TV stands and wall mount blankets included screws needed.

Setting up the tv is easy. However VIU apps installed cannot run due to security rejected to accept the TV. Don’t know why.

The issue is probably warranty very hard to claim. The person will probably sidestep one issue over another issue, meaning you probably have to make a really serious claim for them to take you seriously.

And having warranty does not mean absolutely free repair. There can be hidden costs like transport fees, admin fees and fees for parts.

Viu for Android/Google TV only available for Sony/Prism+/TCL TV models locally. You can try to find modded Viu for Android TV APK though, may or may not work but not recommended for security reasons.

There is this offer from Giant. $429 only. Is this good?

HARSON'S 50" 4K Smart TV T2 50ALS55T2S

Don't know about this, but all the 24" to 40" Harson TVs I saw at NTUC don't look good. Bland visuals. Does the job of delivering the contents, but looks dull AF compared to my lowest-end 65" 4K Philips PUT6023/98 TV (but twice the cost of the Harson 50" though).

I will be buying the Xiaomi A2 58 inch smart TV instead at around $480.

Not sure if it's only applicable for the latest model. I checked with TCL and they mentioned P635 series support Viu, maybe only recent models supports.
