Samsung Online only give overtrade $200 and extended 1 year warranty and free upgrade storage? (no extra vouchers?)

Meanwhile telco give all the above plus at least $200 e vouchers??

Which one more worth it ya? Samsung online vs Starhub CIS ($60 plan per month after discount + 1149 device price). I don5 need fancy plan so I can get from Samsung online and get a $20Sim only plan)

Telco no free storage upgrade unless its Singtel. Voucher from M1 and Starhub is to buy Samsung products which are really over priced.

This is mine which I posted earlier.

Singtel XO plus 72 - $57.61 monthly (CIS)

Samsung S23 Ultra 512 GB $1020
- $100 new XO 72 Plan sign-up
- $80 Singtel Red
- $88 launch offer
- free caller ID and Auto roam
Total - $752

Total device and plan over 24 month period $2134.64

I initially wanted to get from Samsung Online @ $1640. But by signing up with Singtel over 24 month period, I effectively spend $20 monthly for my mobile service plan compared to buying from Samsung online.

Those that bought online and trading in old device, do we schedule pick up now not knowing the delivery date or can schedule after receiving the new phone?

And any recommendation for 45w compatible adapter besides Samsung's?

Thanks in adv

Telco got no free storage upgrade.

Calculate your TCO for 2 years with contract and simonly plan + device. Take the cheaper option. From my past experience, it is about the same. So i opted for sim only plan

Nope. No trade in with Samsung.

Didn't trade in with Singtel too. Singtel reception ok for me.

If don't factor in trade in, even without the new signup voucher, Singtel CIS is cheaper. Singtel also has 200 dollar over trade but the models are more limited but if I'm not wrong the value for certain phones are higher.

I went to compare SIM only 45 + Samsung store vs Singtel CIS. Even with plan downgrade penalty (I still have 2 mths left out of 24 mths contract) I save about 100 assuming no trade in and assuming I qualify for the 10.10 for first 3 mths (x2 since Sim only is 12 mth contract) offer

No issue with Singtel reception for me. even 5g is quite stable these days unlike earlier years where it's better to stick to 4g

Btw if you sign up Singtel red for this the actual value of the voucher is only 20 dollars not 80

I used to think this way but next time i will just get the phone alone, sign a sim only and be contract free instead of 24 months contract.

i have been doing this, to me, much cheaper. and can change plans anytime whenever a cheaper sim only no contract plan is avail. Signing a 2yr contract is basically paying installment for the phone at RRP & tied for 2yr with a fixed price.

usually i just get a new phone a few mths after launch from neighbourhood shops, sell my old phones in carousell or tradein with those shops.

doing this way, still need to fork out money buy a phone at no contract price.

what i do is i sign up contract, get iphone and sell it to exporters on launch day as that will get quite a good profit.

i have multi line saver for my m1 lines at 30 percent off the subscription rate. so my contract subscription cost also cheaper. get iphone at contractual price then sell away. per phone profit always 1k or more. do it for 2 years aleady = 2k. can buy a flagship samsung phone for free.

oh and on top of that, my 30 percent discounted contract line from m1... the bill i also claim from company =x

I see some bros or sis here, the delivery changed from 10 Feb to March onwards. Is it late to pre order so they shifted the later one back?
