Platinum Fashion Mall Food Court Is another choice. People who do not have strong stomachs better stick to these food courts than street hawkers. I seek out fine dining options as they present good value for money compared to the options we have on this island. I also visit Som Boon. For birds' nest I visit Chinatown.

usually where u guys eat? any mall recommended?
When you are outside, lunch or dinner time, just go to any nearest place for makan. Don't need to plan ahead. Unless you are looking for good food.
For food court in any shopping mall, you need to buy a card and top up any amount, before you leave, return to the counter for refund.

It does save you the hassle of paying in baht at every stall you patronise, does it not? You will only have to get the card once before your meal and seek a refund of the remainder after your meal. Somewhat like eating at Marche.

it's more convenient. just go around decide what u want to eat & estimate cost say B150. go counter give B200, u get a card & proceed to order your meal. not enough just go counter topup

after your meal return your card to get balance back.

My standard is 2hrs + 1hr, 6.15pm traffic will be worst, may need to add more time or take other transport.

It is only a 10 min walk to Ratchaprarop Station where you can board the airport rail for another 25 min to reach the airport. Train frequency is 10 min. Confirm that your departure airport is Survanabhumi.
