Life is okay and I stay in HDB. But I suffer from this inferiority complex cos I stay in HDB. Don't few comfortable going to restaurants or slightly atas malls like MBS. Also feel lesser when I visit people who stays in landed or condo.

I don't think I am alone.. For the 80% of us that stays in HDB, how do you all cope?

You have to work on your self-esteem and your idgaf thinking.
If not, even if you move into a condo, you still feel inadequate compared to condos in expensive districts, bigger units, penthouses, landed and GCB.

It will be very jarring especially you are working in an environment where everyone staying condo, it’s like an Asian in AMDK community.

But chiu should have better liquid wealth than them la since you can’t really appreciate finer things in life like atas dining or homes. Mini version of warren buffet if it make you feel better.

At the end of the working life, everyone retire separately so long game doesn’t matter.

dont you love the financial freedom? You should be relatively debt free and thats the greatest freedom already. Alot of ppl drive big car and/or live big house are probably eating instant noodle at home most nights.
