My fren has in mind a driver Liao. Recommended by a Tw fren. Should be finalising dates soon. Our Alishan dates not so flexible as need to follow hotel. So it kind of affect the rest of itinerary too. That hotel my fren said very difficult to book.

Well Alishan usually I will say can skip if it is off sakura festival.

35%. Rates for most rental chains are determined by Group A,B,C,D tier cars in their categorization.

They are free to replace any car rented within the same tier if the customer has no preference on car make and model.

Recent trip they are trying to mandate fuel cost calculation by per km basis (pay with only their fueling card) and calculating the realstic kmpl for the make/model I noticed they are charging is 25-35% above the fuel pricing at the pump.

If you drive frequently and are sensitive to pump prices you’d know they are over charging above the ~30NT per litre pricing. I used their service a couple of times and rejected pay by per km (pay yourself at the various gas station, return car with the same fuel gauge %) and branch supervisor approved. Probably can discuss fuelling matters with them on Line before picking up to prevent misunderstanding.

Largest group A car should be Nissan Livina 1.6. Otherwise the other group A cars are really small cars that are too small for 2 pax half or full island self drive.
