What happened to the Korean War, Vietnam War and the most recent Afghanistan which had the backing of NATO? The United States did not emerge victorious due to cost effectiveness and other factors. How much more debt will the US incur today if they went to war?

only china has been victorious in all the wars n were so successful that they conceded on the following key objectives to the adversary:

korea war - allowed USA to successfully defend s korea from the communists for a war started by them.
vietnam war - allowed vietcong to occupy cambodia for another decade while successfully “taught” them a lesson.

US n the rest of the world r all no where near the success rate of China winning any war.

US perfected aircraft carriers since they won in Midway in WW2. Since then they just owning. Just look at their kill-death ratio.

Nuclear is no big deal on a ship. Almost every UN perm security council member have nuclear powered ship since Cold War 30 years ago. Surprising China still not able to do it on a carrier with a lot of space.

The current PLA has no real experience but they are very well coordinated during diaster relief work. While can argue it's different from war, the coordination experience should be transferrable. Using armies belonging to feudal lords during WW2 as a comparison is illogical IMO.

US doesn't want to go to war also, their government will shut down in a prolonged war with a superpower as will spend too much money. If they lose their triple A status, China would still have won in the long run.
