Hello anyone gotten the Edgemax Router X and connected it to the M1 ONT?
Previously without the Edgemax Router X, my setup was M1 ONT -> Wireless router when testing on https://whatismyipaddress.com/, it displayed both ipv4 and ipv6 but now ipv6 is not detected. Is there any setting to modify?

M1 has upgraded the free Asus RT-AX55 to RT-AX3000P with better WiFi specification, but still with 256MB RAM and no USB port. M1 also keeps the TP-Link Archer AX72 (AX5400) as another option.

Take note RT-AX3000P is not the same as RT-AX3000 (aka RT-AX58U) which has 512MB RAM and USB port. RT-AX3000P only supports AIProtection Classis whereas RT-AX3000 supports AIProtection Pro.

Huh. Bill notification came. M1 App as usual saying "this service is not available". How are you guys paying the bills? Stupid M1 removed the web based option and forced us to install a dumb app. It doesnt even work..

you can still pay via the m1 website. Just log in as per usual, use the instant pay feature. you need to manually enter your m1 account number and amount to pay. You will still get the rebates and all from your credit card.
The stupid thing is if you enter your email on your payment page for receipt, you wont get the receipt. :mad:
Best is you screenshot your payment on your banking app or payment successful page.

Note that it now takes longer to update that you have paid.
If you want instant update of the account, then use axs to pay. You lose the rebates on your credit card.

total crap after this bespoke shiat "upgrade"

You have to install M1+ App and pay using the app. after the bespoke "upgrade".

Thanks and let me try that.

Update: Tried and failed. Not sure if its a one time issue or other. Also, can't see the "bill" in web. M1+ app worked after few tries. I think I will try again online next month and right now deleted the M1+ app on mobile. If the web option doesnt work, then the plan is --> Use M1+ app to pay and delete again.

Thanks. I thought the M1 app. Didn't realized the M1+. Let me see if I can do with the website. If not, will give it a try with the M1+ app. If doesn't work, probably the best is to wait for a good deal from others. M1 really screwed it up with the "upgrade".


Update#: Yeah, M1+ worked thought too many clicks and few refreshes. This app asked me at least 3x to save the credit card and recurring payment. Also asking me permission to track my phone location, coverage etc. But I am just a broadband customer and these suckers are pushing an app to track my mobile (non-M1)? Ridiculous.

nope didn't receive any notifications yet, I have both M1 mobile and Fibre lines.
I received notice via email and sms about 7 days before my FBB contract expire that M1 is "upgrading" the bundled data plan to bespoke.

mine no more on contract though, my M1 Mobile Broadband Data still reflected as SurfValue and I just downloaded my e-bill pdf via the web as per normal.

Just recontracted my 1gbps yday, they didn't ask me to change to M1+ app, still using my old one. Paid nothing and got the tp link ax72, it's a huge upgrade over my Asus 68u, since our handphones support WiFi 6. Coverage is way better too. Plus I save $4 a month on my new monthly premium.

Good for you, may they forgotten about you :)
Anyway. no benefit to 'upgrade' to Bespoke Surfvalue for us. Beside loosing access of payment, tracking via web, the bill statement also being simplified... no record of incoming/outgoing minutes for fixed voice.

I see. I'm still on old plan for mobile and fibre. I asked the CSO in m1 shop before if my line will be migrated to new plans, he said no. He said because I am on CIS mySIMe plans hence it will remain as it is.
