Read Amazon reviews from a Corsair Dominator Platinum customers who bought two identical kits which I think to save money. Theirs are working fine. I think that it should be ok as long as the specs and chip manufacturer from every stick reflected in CPUZ is identical.

If you buy at the same time, most likely its the same batch so no problem, Corsair or not.

If you buy at diff time and Corsair then good luck to you. The thing is there's no way to tell until you have the product in your hand, even then it's not very obvious.

End of the day, don't buy Corsair RAM. :s13:

The Corsair Ram arrived and I tested it. Tried every sequence and every stick. Worked without any issue. Even DOCP mode has no problem. The batches arrived in the 1st kit's last digits as 38, 39 and 2nd kit as 56, 57. The specs, numbers and dies are all identical. All 4 worked together and system is stable. Will stress test them later when I have time. However, the Ram RGB uses another software and Armoury Crate does not recognize it.

In amazon Sg, Is there a chance items shipped from Amazon US might be Amazon US third party sellers?

Cause there are quite a number of scam sellers in Amazon US.

Like I said, buying at the same time is usually no issue. The problems with Corsair usually arise when you buy some first and some later.

I doubt those are batch numbers though. If they were batch numbers they'd be identical for one batch. They're not week numbers either cos they wouldn't be different for the sticks in each kit. If they're consecutive for sticks in a kit then that's probably serial numbers.

IE you got sticks 38, 39 and 56, 57 from the same batch. Adds up too when you count 2 at a time from 39 to 56.

For the RGB control you can try SignalRGB, I found that works when a lot of other software didn't.

corsair ram when you buy online they most likely won't tell you the version number.

they may use different dies for different version number of the SAME model. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

so, a lot people generally won't recommend mixing it because they are not sure the person who asked have the same dies or not.

It uses ICUE sotware for RGB control. Stress tested for several hours at 100% load without errors. Looks like I've got a steal for 4 x 8GB of Dominator Platinum version at $148. The lights show is amazing!
