Samsung Galaxy S21 series, the same old thing again?

My S21U has the green line. It appeared all a sudden. Tried booting on to safe mode and doing hard reset but green line still persist.

Anyone has any idea how much a replacement screen or hardware cost to fix this? Thanks in advance.

I was quoted by Samsung hotline around 400+ near 500 dollars range.

Nah, traded in when last month when samsung had the $500 overtrade for s23 ultra with $300 discount code.

But I told myself no more samsung if s23 ultra also having green lines in the future.

Updated with green line. Samsung customer centre quoted S$430 if screen replacement is needed. Sian.

First samsung phone that haS this problem.

Wondering why Samsung will not do a service recall for AMOLED display with green lines after a software update when the screen itself is in perfect condition. It’s a known issue for S20 series and S21 series.
