Never Ever buy a Daikin aircon

Some people still stick to the belief that Daikin only make aircon so they are the best, I jitao shake head only

mitsubishi electric is still the best. most people whose mitsubishi keep breakdown is because of poor piping installation. small diameter piping, many sharp bents all make yr compressor high load for nothing.

i used to work in a big ahbeng renovation coy. aircon manufacturer have this running hour lifetime, and mitsubishi electric has the highest. go figure

I just replaced my Starmex aircon. The master room always not cold. Wanted to upgrade a higher BTU fan coil, but contractor said my model is obsolete since more than 10 yrs old. Need to replace whole system.

My Mitsubishi aircon 10 years now need to on 18 deg than cold.

aircon tech told me need to replace it but I moving house next year so just ignore and wait until it totally die off

I did that last time, ask me to change spoilt compressor, always on one, cant switch off when off the fcu, must power off from power socket near aircon ledge, no choice do that for 3 months lol.

The other My living room 18000k btu died 6 months before moving house also, bochup as repairman ask to repair for $1k or suggest to replace. I said leave it lol

starmex is mitsubishi electric model la, like how vios is to toyota. but if you are asking mitsubishi electric and mitsibishi heavy industies then these are 2 whole different thing

Mitsubishi Electric is the brand. Starmex is the model series of Mitsubishi Electric aircon brand.

Coolant too low? Just do a top up and it will be fine? Top up refrigerant is quite cheap.

6 years is actually not a long time for a multi split system. THe daikin i bought in 2007 for my parents place lasted around 12 years. But this daikin i bought in 2016 is really regret. Its quality totally down the hill. The support which is the most important aspect of aircon service life also cmi.

i also installed this new daikin and changed all the piping in 2016.

thru out the years, i already serviced / repair 3-4 times. not the compressor tho. rather the fan unit itself.

i every 3-6 mths will call ppl come down do a thorough cleaning and maintenance.

i think next aircon shall be mitsubishi liao.

the technician told me this ,
now all the new Aircon invertor or Simi 4 tick 5 tick one all CMI. cannot last. rather go buy back those w 3 tick.
