Anyone can set the notifications on the app to show number of messages instead of dots? I choose show number in the settings but will not show.

I think some app just don't allow numbers to be shown, only dots. If you go into individual app notification setting, some will let you choose between dot and numbers, some only dots. WeChat can dots and numbers, apps like YouTrip only dots. Don't know why like that, guess OxygenOS restrictions.

I am not getting prompt notification from some apps, like TB and EzBuy etc. Open app then all notification start flooding in, already set allow notifications. Is it must set allow background activities & auto launch? Already set allow foreground. WhatsApp is fine though.

for me, the default home launcher is not very customizable. Microsoft launcher is my go-to. at least I can have looping scroll, organize my apps in the apps drawer, make icons show message counts and so on. not intending to start a launcher discussion

yes, try those 2 options. notifications should be prompt after that. however, do not turning on these settings might have some impact on battery life (it might be minimal and unnoticeable for u)

Tried the above mentioned guide but still some notifications on my moomoo app does not come in unlike on Samsung a54 which has no settings done. Oxygen OS not as good as OneUI?

Different style of doing things. OneUI dont bother such things at all. So the battery life on OneUI isnt good most of the time.

Did u set auto launch/auto start and disable optimise battery usage?

If yes and it still doesnt work, just launch the app, and lock it inside your recents app, so when u clear all it wont clear

Ok now the notifications come in already. I set auto launch for all my apps and disable optimise battery usage for all apps. How about the background and foreground settings? All set to ON mode also?

To each of it's own. I never try Honor's OS before, don't know song to use or not. Both kinda identical in terms of offerings.

Depending on the deal you are getting lah, I do feel like getting the Honor 90 now though. Haha.
