Yes, bto many years ago.
Been paying 5xx/month each.

We're in our late 30's, both my wife and I have >400k each in cpf, NOT considering amount used for loan.
Just add ave. 50k/y to cpf (cont. + Interest - loan) for 10y.

Unless my math is wrong, how can 1M50 be difficult?
For one person or couple?

Your number is very impressive given that your networth has increased 199k in 7 months which is more than your annual take home salary after tax.

He pays rent which is equivalent to our mortgage payments
Yes, If Singaporeans are including cpf and home equity as part of networth then it will be correct comparison. My entire networth is liquid, no home equity and no cpf.

Thanks to the buoyant markets. :)
I already consider this number as FU, but I am not making any changes. I will just try to keep working in Singapore and accumulate whatever I can until my daughter starts her college.

Primary residence + CPF are excluded from net asset calculation according to definition of net worth. So you are doing much better than most of us.
My networth is a big negative up to date according to the definition.

I would beg to differ to exclude cpf (especially if you are close to 55) and primary residence (if its not a small HDB) since the option to downgrade is there

The key is in bold highlighted. So maybe readers need to share their real life age too. CPF are our hard-earned monies throughout our entire working career in Spore. It is OUR MONIES!!!

Primary residence needs to be excluded, but the debt associated with it needs to be included according to the definition of networth. So a big negative for me after working for many years according to that definition(we have to work to clear mortgage)
