I just bought from Courts. Got 10% discount, today last day discount. I'm surprised the case is so small compared to XM3.

Coming from xm3 also, indeed is very small as compare. However, xm5 battery can last me >8 hrs as using that watch football and listening to music in between from 7pm to 3am on Sat. My old xm3 can only last <3hrs and since the xm3 right earbud starts having intermittently cracking noise, so decided to change to xm5.

Unlikely. Already mentioned on Sonys website that trade-in is $80 until Sep 10. After that is $50 trade-in only

I would say that it is even a good upgrade from XM4 to XM5.

i beg to differ about the opinion of XM5,

sure, the battery life is longer as it is new,

but the size is small and gets slippery when taking out from case and putting in ears, also the seal is not so good,

then the issue of disconnect at bus near the tap machine. at ntuc at the cashier, also when pass by shops at entrance,

the anc is not as good as can hear people talking even though it seems to be isolating noise

but again this is my personal experience.

Just trade my xm3 for this xm5

Overall not bad la only have with white color and additional discount when i offset with nex voucher, went to ps to collect my free case

The size is really small compare to xm3 and they save alot cost on their packaging

Got any sticker for xm5 since mine is white color

I believe many, if not all wireless headsets will be affected by NFC nearby.

Did you set to connectivity priority or sound quality priority? Try setting to connection priority.

Also, did you put your phone to the back of your body / bag between your phone and buds? If you are, do position your phone closer to the buds to maintain proper connectivity. The buds are small and therefore shorter in antenna thus produce shorter signal strengths. Physics.

I use the EQ setting to tweak slightly abit. Sound more clarity on the lower end, not so high pitch and bass also strong. Good for watching drama

Your bass a bit too heavy for me.. I still prefer the one computeron programmed.

But it's nice we have members trying out and sharing their settings!!

Anyway guys, ALWAYS remember the fitting must be snug . IT makes quite a big difference.

I tried all the tips and was torn between the original and large tips . Initially I selected the original size, but now I changed to the large tips when I sense the earbuds felt uncomfortable and seems sound escape.

The seal must really cover your ears whole. Then that's where the sound and noise cancelling really stand.

Do try the tips again if you guys facing similar issue.

Everytime for the first few seconds when I put on my xm5, I always hear the ambient sound amplified. Then the noise canceling kick in (which is what I set). How do I permanently turn off the ambient sound thing?
