When you have money and you already live in Spore, where you visit should achieve one of these few things:
1. Safety and security - Why visit a place where the security there is like sai, pay to get into trouble? Many of us grew up sheltered, so we dont take risks often.
2. Adventure - A place that cannot be found and experienced in Spore but yet safe, for example trekking in Nepal, Scuba diving in the Great Barrier reef.
3. Cost and benefits - Visiting a place like that would help you save money. Its not about enjoyment per se although can weave in as part of itinerary, I can only think of 3 places that fits this criteria - JB, Bangkok and Batam. Pump cheap petrol, buy cheap groceries, tailored clothes, cheap massage.
4. Scenary - Again, its something that we dont have here, Switzerland, Iceland, Japan, Korea, Australia, NZ all fit this criteria which is why its popular with Sporeans. Also, these countries fit criteria (1) and you can include criteria (2) also off the beaten tracks. With a strong Spore currency, you can even have some of criteria (3) - buying luxury goods in Japan and Switzerland etc..
5. Weather - Its pretty obvious, we dont have 4 seasons and we long for it. Countries in (4) have all of it.
Got time to reply you here, no time people just tell you, got money need you to huan lo?
