Spheredome is so right.

In the case of the Dreame L10S Pro Ultra Heat, the Hot Water washing feature is only to wash the mop. And even then, the water is lukewarm at best. I even did a personal test of removing the robot vacuum immediately after it washed the mop pads and touched the pads. They were just lukewarm.

Another issue that I had is with the Auto Detergent Dispenser.
This feature is useless.
First of all, I was wondering why I wasn't getting the same smooth and slippery flooring with my vinyl flooring like I did with the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra after it finishes mopping a room and drying. In fact, it felt a bit stickier.

The reason finally makes sense. Because just like with the hot water washing the mop feature, the detergent is only for washing the mop. And even then, it is such a little amount or not even working, that my detergent container is still around full after a few uses and also, the mop pads smelt bad with no hint of the floor detergent that I used.

In the end, I had to add the floor detergent into the water tank itself like I did with my Roborock vacuums. So that even the water being dispensed slowly while cleaning will introduce the floor detergent solution to the vacuum while cleaning.

It already took 98 mins to clean my entire house vs the Roborock's 70 mins.
Imagine if I had to let the robot vacuum keep on returning to the dock to wash the mop over and over to have that slight hint of a detergent on the mop pad (or none at all based on my results) before it returns to cleaning increasing the time further from 98 mins.

The issue that I had is that the mop pads dries up fast even with the water being dispensed to the mop throughout the cleaning.
This, versus the flat mop pads that were still damp and you can visibly see traces of a wet floor with the Roborock S8 thanks to the even distribution of water to the pads.

But what about the end results you might say? The increased suction power meant that on the 2nd to low vacuum level (probably called Standard for most robot vacuums) even though below the max 7000rpm, does a great job with the carpets. They were fluffier thanks to the fur being pulled up. And they feel nice to step on.
On hard floors
, their performance is no different to the Roborock S8 with it's lower suction power on the same 2nd to low setting. Mostly some strands of hair just refuse to be picked up by both vacuums.

With the robot vacuuming and mopping at the same time, for hard floors, they are about equal. Same final result. Floor felt clean with no particles felt on your feet. But only issue is like I said, the floor felt a lot stickier on the Dreame L10S Pro Ultra Heat vs the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra.
I highly recommend still adding your floor detergent solution into the water tank as the Auto Add Detergent feature is really just a gimmick that is only meant for washing the mops instead of cleaning the floors with detergent. And like I said, I can't smell any hint of my floor detergent on the mop pads after it finishes washing the mop anyway. So to ensure that there will always be floor detergent, you'll have to manually add it into the water tank.

Thus, making the 2 features of the Dreame L10S Pro Ultra Heat completely useless and is more for show than it having any practical use.

Lastly, that huge 4L water tank is used up so fast. No wonder they need a huge tank. It uses a lot of water even in the Light Washing mode. I need to top up the tank way sooner than I did with the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra even though the S8 has a smaller tank.
So something to take note of if you are not attaching it to your water pipe + drain and are using the water tanks.
Just curious, why do you buy a dreame L10s when u have s8 pro ultra? What did you do with the s8 after changing?

Anyone using airbot l108s ultra? Any idea if the warm mop drying will be done after completion of the mop and vacuum task or do i have to activate the drying manually via the apps?

update on my Dreame L10s Ultra and Ecovacs T20.

overall i feel Dreame map and clean faster compared to ecovacs. but both unit cleaning (both vacuum and mop) both ok to me. if anyone wanna get, can consider either. no experience on roborock thus cant comment.

I am using the roborock solution… there’s a few sellers selling on shopee.
I can’t really tell a difference between using it and just using water though..

The Roborock Q-Revo MaxV can be bought for $905.35 (or $906.34 with the $1 camera gift) with the Shopee vouchers and Store voucher and PayNow discount at the moment.

You think the Q-Revo MaxV is a good price now? Was thinking of waiting till 2.2 maybe there is even better sale

This is the lowest I've seen so far. Previously closer to $1000. So price has definitely dropped to an all-time low this time.

Just curious, why do you buy a dreame L10s when u have s8 pro ultra? What did you do with the s8 after changing?
It is for the ability to mop the edges of the wall and corners. The almost total coverage of mopping the floor is great... when it is not randomly avoiding and circling away from the wall edge that is.

That and plus the easy maintenance of just cleaning the plastic tray and base station as opposed to many different components like the roller brush that cleans the pad, the filter that prevents large debris from being sucked up into the dirty water tank and manually wiping the base station and the small components like wiper where the roller brush is in.
There's just too many things to clean when the time comes to clean it. Though I rarely have to clean it on the S8 Pro Ultra's Dock. The process was similar to my cleaning routine that I had with the S7 MaxV's Ultra Dock. But it is just a lot more tedious and time consuming. The rotating mop pad's dock is just an absolute breeze to clean and saves a lot of time in comparison.

I still have my S8 Pro Ultra. Needed to make sure which I'd keep and which I'd give away to my friends and family after I test out all 3 to find the best robot vacuum in my possession.

Your experience is in line with a few honest reviews online on how Ecovac robot vacuums have the worst cleaning algorithm that makes it the slowest.

So here's my input and update on my Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat VS my newly bought Roborock Q Revo MaxV.
Again, just like with some honest reviews that doesn't just cover the same marketing points and instead focuses on the things not talked about, there is no robot vacuum that have the most efficient, yet thorough and super fast cleaning algorithm than a Roborock robot vacuum.

I haven't managed to run a full house cleaning today, but for 1 of the bedrooms, the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat took 10 minutes to vacuum the same bedroom while the Roborock Q Revo MaxV took only 5 minutes.
Both were set to Vacuum-only mode. Both were also set to run 2x Cycles.
(Now I hope you guys understand why I was so annoyed with the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat in my previous posts. I gave it a chance thinking could it be that rotating mop vacuums just took longer in general? But nope. It was just that every other robot vacuum brands have absolutely bad cleaning algorithms and a stupid AI.)

What made the L10s took so long? Again, it seems to easily get lost while it is doing the easy back and forth cleaning along the centre of the floor. It will randomly go to an area that it has already covered and moved a bit and then stop and think again and then tries to return to where it left off and think some more before proceeding to resume where it left off for no apparent reason.

What sealed the deal that the Roborock Q Revo MaxV was seriously way better. It actually achieves it's mission on its selling point. On being able to mop along the edges.
The problems that the L10s Pro Ultra Heat had such as avoiding cleaning near the full length mirror at times and also avoiding moving along the edges of the bedroom wardrobe, resulted in less vacuuming and mopping coverage.

The same problem that the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat was struggling with was completely not an issue with the Roborock Q Revo Maxv. It vacuumed and mopped along the full length mirror and followed the edges of the bedroom wardrobe without swerving away randomly. It did both perfectly without any issue.
It contributed the the quick and efficient vacuuming of the bedroom as a result.

I'll do a full review/ comparison here for people who are looking to buy either of these vacuums.
Word of advice; don't be fooled by the marketing fluff that they put on the product pages.

Btw, here's the screenshot of the timing that both the robots took for the bedroom I was talking about earlier.

Glad my short comparison experience helped you make a more wise purchase decision. That was always the intention from my part too.
I understand why if they were the same price, we would naturally skew more towards the Dreame since the design is nicer. But that is exactly where I think most of their budget went. If only they made a more wiser decision.
I mean a floor detergent tank to only wash the mop pads? Seriously?
At least the upcoming Roborock S8 MaxV will have a floor detergent tank that will mix in with the water tank in your robot vacuum as is what the detergent dispenser is supposed to be.

The Q Revo MaxV has this as well. Just that you would need the 'connect to pipe and drainage' version to get the detergent tank. Else, I already have a bottle with a 5ml cap. So just pour it 4 times into the water tank to get 20ml for the 4L water tank as the proper ratio (1:200) of mixture for it. So that's fine as well.... Until something better comes along in the future.

I think the Q Revo MaxV is excellent value for money at this point even without going into the specifics like you did that make it even more highly recommended

Anyway - managed to get it for $721.95 after the shopee/shop/coin/shipping vouchers

Looking forward for it to replace my now defunct 5 year old Roborock Gen 2!
