I think disadvantages more than advantages. Other than the pests and rubbish chute mentioned, I think when 7th month people burn things will have a lot of smoke. Car exhaust also will go into unit if their window is open. The steps outside will be a challenge for elderly if they taking care of parents or growing old themselves in future.
