However, this time if we use Gboard, means we won't have quick access to the AI features for typing I guess, lol, not a critical use case for me.

Would be hilarious if the lag is caused by the AI features touted by Samsung themselves.

Fellow S24/24+/24U users, did you guys notice there's no longer the option to unlock right away if the PIN number input is correct? Now we have to tap "OK" after entering the PIN to unlock, that's slightly disappointing for me, though probably it's a security concern that they removed that feature.

(Edit: Solved, needed to add a PIN that's at least 6 digits to activate that feature)

yea the device was not a daily driver and just mainly used at home. so on the day i ordered i immediately tried to chance it see if can same day deliver/collect.

the s24 delivery didnt happen, and compasia missed the appointment (9am-3pm) but they came in the evening., near 7pm. maybe keep that in mind for ur 16 feb appt too

In terms of issues, im not sure too since my handset handover technically done before i even receive phone, not within 1-3 days after I think ur case should be fine since it's on compasia

What do you mean exactly by lag? I tried the Samsung keyboard working fine for all languages.

For anyone trying to find sp, highly recommend zeelot tempered glass. I have been using it since s21 ultra days and the fp works well, sometimes need to re register the fp sometimes no need. They are using UV glue tech, I usually ask the shop guy to help paste.

This time round s24u I'm skipping it tho cuz I wanna try the anti reflective coating. Also the price has dropped for their flat screen sp compared to curved last time.

why not use fingerprint, which is more convenient, can unlock even with no need to turn on the screen.

Solved haha, i disable triple tap for zoom. flower eyes have to use the zoom feature.
After disabling triple tap, i change it to accessibility button and the lag is now gone.
