Anyone here staying in 2 room BTO?

Should we move it to HomeSeekers and HomeMakers?

$20 per hour is not meant for weekend. It's for night shift. Day shift is slightly lower, around $15 to $16 per hour.

Certis also paying up to $16 for part time airport screening officers. Training provided. No need valid PLRD pass. Hours of work from 4 to 9 hours.

even $10 i also take, as long as my salary less then $650 or even less then $400 also can, cause as long as i still blue card and low income benefit ( like the $10.40 fiber plan, transport sub can liao)

Assume if I find work at changi Airport CAAS from yishun got express bus 1 hour still ok bcos is quite fast take 858 direct to changi Airport.

If stay punggol go to work at SATS or CAAS is the best half hour travel:)
From punggol east take bus 3 to Pasir ris MRT already 30mins liao because of the detour but even if not, still have to switch to bus 89 outside WWW
Overall still an hour journey ok lah, maybe 45mins but impossible 30 mins
Used to work at changi cargo complex last time

oh my god its nearer but today I left home at 7.15am and I reach the office at 9.01am lor. The journey is longer than my previous company.
Oh probably because you're staying quite the deepest in PG liao
I was in punggol east, started work at 9am, left home at 8am ,catch bus 3 at 810am ,maybe reached office at Loyang at 850am

But your Loyang side is dua bekgong industrial estate there? Mine is there too, I alighted at BLK 242 Pasir ris bus stop and cut through the estates, crossed the road and cut through the river to reach the office

Nowadays study so much also no use. Once reach middle age and get retrenched is hong kan liao.

Very difficult to get back high salary job. Then end up do Grab or become security guard to pay the bills. LOL!

As long as wages for blue collar jobs are suppressed due to imported cheap labour it is not easy for the downtrodden to think about upward mobility.

The only way out is to semi lie flat. Make sure have a roof over your head and a blue CHAS card for heavily subsidised healhcare if required.

To be on the safe side if taking train or bus always set off from your home 4 hours or earlier before your flight departure time.
