I thought a bit deeper Iirc interest on MA is calculated based on lowest account amount that month. So yup you are right. It's only fractionally lower for that month. And not the whole year.

to be fair, you are not alone. I think most people don't really keep track of their financial diligently unless those borderline OCD kind. I do it only because I see it as a challenge to optimise my personal wealth (either through tax optimisation, portfolio allocation etc) given I don't have many other hobby
