HDB Resale:
1.Household own max 1 Non-residential property.
2.Non-essential occupier cannot buy private residential property during MOP!

few know two rules !!! be careful,,

1.
https://www.hdb.gov.sg/residential/living-in-an-hdb-flat/acquiring-private-property
  • During the MOP of the flat, the flat owner, his/her spouse and occupiers
  • are not allowed to acquire private residential property.
  • Acquiring private residential property to hold on trust for another person is also not allowed.
  • After the MOP of the flat, there is no limit .
2. https://www.hdb.gov.sg/residential/...at-and-grant-eligibility/couples-and-families

Non-residential property

All persons listed in the HFE letter application can, as a household, own up to
1 non-residential property at HFE letter application
and up to 30 months before HFE letter application.

3. https://www.hdb.gov.sg/residential/...ers-occupiers/change-in-occupiers/eligibility
(adding)Occupiers’ ownership of private property
If you have not completed the required MOP for your flat
  • Proposed occupiers must not own or have an interest in any private residential property
  • and in no more than one non-residential property

For married couple, both husband and wife need to have names to the house leh. How to remove.

Unless you talking about cases where Father and Son buy the HDB together under family nucleus and remove the Son to buy private.
